I thought I'd spend the trip reading "The Old Man and the Sea." Instead, I experienced "Them Bombs on the Sea,"
Pewdiepie said with dissatisfaction.
The Seawire Ferry Line is one of the most popular ferries in the area, servicing thousands of commuters each day. This time, a routine work commute nearly ended in tragedy when a bomb was found on one of the decks. The device was minutes from detonating, but a team of two passengers – later to be called the Unlikely Hero and the Expert – defused the bomb and prevented a horrible explosion.
"I've never seen people so brave in my entire career," ferry captain said, "maybe because it was my first day at work." He then instructed the ferry orchestra to play a classical piece to honor the Hero and the Expert.
"I'd prefer a "Smoke on the Water" cover," the Expert said of the performance, "under the condition that Dr TiNT wasn't the one performing."
Dr TiNT – who claimed responsibility for the attack – remains at large, and can strike again anytime. To prevent more attacks like this from happening, the police urge civilians to play Them Bombs whenever they can, and to share their stories for future bomb defusers.
